About Young Ly:
Young Ly did a computer science degree at Auckland University because he liked computer games a lot more than accounting! This love of gaming, lead Young to found a computer game company out of Uni. Whilst it ultimately wasn’t commercially successful, the experience gave him the skills to excel in subsequent positions.
Young made a name for himself by founding and leading the Innovation and Ventures team at Air New Zealand, the group that lead the Airline into the internet age.
These days, he’s the CEO of Serato, who make some of the worlds most successful DJ and Music Production software.
He’s also in Jonathan Ackerman’s Dungeons and Dragons coven.
Bain adds:
Young Ly is an accomplished Executive, a talented technologist and a highly respected industry leader. Young’s humility (on display in writing his Bio) belies the huge respect and admiration his colleagues and teams have for him. We hugely appreciate having Young in our network and an alumni from our very early days at ClearPoint.
